LaVar Ball has once again set the basketball world abuzz with a cryptic statement during an Instagram Live session. While watching the Charlotte Hornets lose a nail-biter to the New York Knicks, LaVar declared,
“You know we need that guy. Don’t worry about it, help is coming. Help is coming.”
Given his penchant for making bold predictions and stirring speculation, many fans and analysts couldn’t help but wonder if he was hinting at a potential reunion between his sons, LaMelo and Lonzo, on the Charlotte Hornets.
The idea of pairing LaMelo and Lonzo makes a lot of sense. Their complementary skill sets could provide the Hornets with a unique dynamic. A potential trade could see the Hornets send Cody Martin, Vasilije Micic, and the Mavericks’ 2027 first-round pick (lottery-protected) to Chicago in exchange for Lonzo.
