Chicago Sky star Angel Reese recently shared a never-before-told story from her childhood, expressing regret over her past behavior. During an episode of her podcast, Unapologetically Angel, the WNBA forward opened up about a shocking incident involving her babysitter and how her mother eventually found out.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Reese admitted, “I was so bad when I was younger,” while sharing a clip from the latest episode. In the video, she recalled a time when she repeatedly called the police as a child.
“My mom used to get pissed,” Reese said. “I used to call the police on my babysitter. I didn’t want to stay there. I didn’t want her watching me. That’s why.”
But that wasn’t the only wild memory she revealed. The former LSU standout also shared a hilarious anecdote involving her brother.
“Me and my brother, I guess, were so bad,” she began. “She acts like she drafted paperwork to send us to foster care.”
At the time, Reese admitted she was terrified, thinking they might actually be sent away. “I was so scared,” she recalled, adding that from that moment on, she had been on her “best behavior.”
Fans flooded the comments with jokes following her confession.

Despite the tough love, Reese has shown her deep appreciation for her mother. In a previous episode, she invited her mom onto the podcast and surprised her with a life-changing birthday gift.
“You said if your mortgage was paid off that you would retire,” Reese told her mother before revealing the surprise. “So your mortgage today has been paid.”
The heartfelt gesture left her mother overwhelmed with emotion.
