In the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Kyle Larson secured a thrilling victory. Despite a late-race spin that sent him to the back of the field, Larson showcased remarkable skill by methodically advancing through competitors and seizing the lead in the final laps.
The race commenced with Corey Heim on pole position, who dominated by winning both Stage 1 and Stage 2. However, with 21 laps remaining, Heim’s truck experienced intermittent power issues, causing him to relinquish his lead. Layne Riggs briefly capitalized on Heim’s misfortune, but Larson, equipped with fresher tires and running a high line with precision, overtook Riggs with just two laps to go, clinching his fourth Truck Series victory in 16 starts.
The race featured multiple incidents, including an opening lap crash involving rookie Gio Ruggiero and two-time Truck Series champion Ben Rhodes. Additionally, defending series champion Ty Majeski faced setbacks due to contact on pit road, resulting in fender damage that hindered his performance, leading to an 11th-place finish.

Despite the challenges, Heim’s consistent performance this season maintains his lead in the points standings, holding an eight-point advantage over Majeski. The series now turns its attention to Martinsville Speedway for the Boys and Girls Club of the Blue Ridge 200 on Friday, March 28.
